This week for reading for LS2 we talked about Hone Tauwhare the famous poet from Ateoroa, and we also listened to some of his poems and they were great !

So for our task for reading this week was making a google video and reading ot one of his peom and the one I picked was “Rain” and also use Adobe Exspress to use AI to create photos of the sentences and put all the photos in the google video.

One thing I liked about this task was using Adobe Exspress.

Polynesian Panthers

For this task we made a google slides that tells us what happend in 1970 druing he dawn raids

Dawn raids is when police or officials come to your your house very early in the morning, usually before breakfast, to check if people are breaking the rules or laws.

It unfair for the pacifiers because overstayers will be humiliation and immigrant back to their country

And for some pacifiers equality for some white people police.

The white people were scapegoats for being jealous of the pacific getting more money.

And last the pacifiers were endured the suffer that they had their family members away from you during the dawn raids.

The Kuaka

LI: To create an infographic that tells others about the migration of the kuaka

Something interesting I found out about the Kuaka was Birds soar by spreading their wings and using the wind to help lift them up in the sky. They can glide on air currents without flapping their wings too much. This makes it easier for them to fly high and far.
